LoversForever respects the rights of copyright owners and expects its members to do the same. We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

Reporting infringement

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent containing:

  1. your physical or electronic signature, or that of someone authorised to act for you;
  2. identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed;
  3. the content you say is infringing, with a link or enough detail for us to find it;
  4. your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
  5. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  6. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

Notices must be in English. A notice that knowingly misrepresents infringement may make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent containing:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. identification of the content removed and where it appeared before removal;
  3. a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
  4. your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found) and will accept service from the person who sent the original notice.

We will forward your counter-notice to the person who complained. Unless they tell us within 10 to 14 business days that they have started court proceedings, we may restore the content.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of members who repeatedly infringe copyright.
